Spring is around the corner! That means it’s time to get outside and participate in these exciting food events throughout March:


Chefs for Change

This January, February and March, leave your winter blahs at home and join some of the city and country’s best chefs at  CHEFS FOR CHANGE, five phenomenal nights of food and conviviality that’ll warm even the coldest of toes.

Net profits from Chefs for Change will help Community Food Centres Canada to support vibrant, food-focused organizations that bring people in low-income communities together to grow, cook, share, and advocate for
healthy food for all.

  • Date: March 2nd (Other dates included: January 19 + 26 and February 16 + 23)
  • Location: Propeller Coffee, 50 Wade Ave, Toronto ON
  • Time: Reception at 6:45 p.m. Dinner at 7:15 p.m.



The Great Big Crunch

Since 2008, over 900,000 people have joined FoodShare for the Great Big Crunch, an annual moment of anti-silence where everyone gets together and bites into crunchy fresh local produce in unison. The symphony is loud, whether you munch on apples or carrots. From coast to coast to coast, celebrate and enjoy healthy snacking with your class, colleagues or friends.


Toronto Life – Best New Restaurants 2017

Toronto Life will put the pages of our annual Where to Eat Now issue on a plate at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts. Chefs from some of the city’s best new restaurants, as chosen by our critic Mark Pupo, plus some of the all-around best restaurants in town, will be on hand to serve their signature dishes, and Beau’s Brewery and vintners will pour craft beer and wine.
